Tips for using stork pouch/sling

First of all, thank you SO much for your order!! =))

You can either hold the sling up with your hands or tie it to a VERY sturdy branch, you can also safety pin the handle around the branch, and then wrap the handle around so you can't see the pins. Make sure you never put the branch far from the ground, and that you ALWAYS have some one near the baby, sometimes they like to lean forward while they are in the sling.

To put the baby in the sling, bring his legs up near his chest and put him in bum first, then his legs will just curl up how he is comfy.

When you put him in, if he sinks down too far, its really easy to adjust the basket. You just turn the basket inside out, tie a piece of thick string, or rubber band around the bottom in the center, and then turn it back right side out, and the basket will be much smaller.

If you are shooting a baby that is really fussy, or squirmy place a pillow under your back drop and put the baby, in the sling on top of it, have someone pull up you will have to pull up on the handle quiet a bit to get the hanging look, but the baby will still be touching the pillow a little bit. I'm not sure that this will work with all back drops, but I've seen it used with a black fabric back drop, and it looked really good. =)

The slings take a lot of practice, and can be pretty tricky at times, but just make sure you have plenty of time for baby to get nice and comfy and for a little bit of trial and error! =)

For the Cocoons:
First roll the cocoon down, put the baby's feet inside and then roll the cocoon up around his body. It is made to be snug, so trying to out him in without rolling it down first doesn't work too well.

For the Egg Cocoon:
Lay the egg pod down and then lay baby on top of it, pull it up around his head first, and then pull it down around his bottom and feet.

All of my items are hand wash with cool water, wring out in a towel, reshape and air dry! =))
